Ajuy is a region in Fuerteventura, in Ajuy’s cliff mouth.
This area is formed by small cliffs. Some of them are the cliff of Ajuy and the one of Aulagary de lomos, that descend from the mountains to the sea. It’s a rugged terrain area, except for the plain in Tablero Comisianes.
Playa de Ajuy is next to the town. Is also known as Puerto de la Peña, (Peña’s dock), since in the past it was a boarding spot for cereales and cattle.
