Additional Information

Realejo is a district located in the Old Town of the city, right under the Alhambra. It was the jewish quarter while the muslim invasion. When the city was taken up by christians they renamed it as Realejo because they install there their military camp.

One of its main attractions are the Bermejas towers, dated on the IX century, or the Gate of the Sun which offers an unforgettable views of the cathedral. Under this gate, the old laundry of the city is found.

After, we will head to the Campo del Príncipe, a beautiful square which was known in the past as Campo de la Loma and whose gardens surrounded were part of the sultans.

To finish the tour, we will take a quick look to the majestic St Domingo church which combines gothic, baroque and renaissance styles.
