Dachau was the first concentration camp and the only one that remained open during the 12 years of nazi regime. It may seem shot but, it was long enough for a European society, and over all, all the persecuted by the canciller Adolf Hitler and that were considered as dangerous for the regimen
This catastrophic and dark place, heart of nazism is located a few kilometers from the city center. It was opened in 1933 and released by the American army in 1945, after the death of 206 206 communist, gays, politicians, Roman people …
After the 60s, it has been considered as a reference for the German country to remember all those unfair victims.
