Arguineguín is a small town at the end of the highway. Not many years ago it was only a fishers village.
Despite its port, which is still active, Arguineguín has developed itself as a tourist complex. It’s full of modern hotels. However, this small town still preserves its original idiosyncrasy, with excellent fish restaurants and some interesting fisher pubs.
The busiest day of the week is Tuesday, since the island market takes place. If you want to avoid the traffic on the road, you can take boat transport from Puerto Rico or Puerto Mogán and have a walk through the market and the port.
More about the activity
This activity consists of descending a canyon following the water, where different kinds of physical exercises are combined: walking, jumping, climbing, swiming… and enjoying!
We will have neoprene suits, helmets and individual protection equipments such has harness and carabiner. Depending on the canyon, we will find waterfall forests, or funny canyons with different sizes of jumps and natural sledges. In winter season, canyons will be in the southeast: Barranco de la Manta or Mulato, and in the south area: Barranco del Toro or Cañón del Águila.
In the summer season we move to the centre-north in the Barranco de los Cernícalos or La Mina.
